SUPPORT AT GoFundMeWhat is The 222?
On February 2, 2022, avid runner, mental health advocate, and anything-but-elite-athlete Lachlan Spark will take the first steps of an epic 5000km journey from Hobart, Tasmania to Cairns, Queensland. 222 half marathons back-to-back up the Australian east coast.
Along the way, he’ll attempt to break the world record for most consecutive half marathons which currently stands at 141.
This challenge is a deeply personal one for Lachie, who has for many years lived with chronic anxiety, depression and has battled to stay alive since his mid-teens.
Lachie’s goal is to not only raise a significant amount of money for R U OK? and Heart On My Sleeve, but to also give hope to those people contemplating suicide, and to prove that absolutely nothing is impossible.

How you can help
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover the costs that come with such a massive undertaking, and will assist in not only getting Lachlan to the start line in Hobart, but then onto Cairns.
Your support will help to make this challenge possible, and would be sincerely appreciated. If you’re associated with a business which would like to get involved from a sponsorship perspective, please get in touch with Lachlan via email or phone (details at the bottom of this page).
Thank you in advance for any support you can offer.
