The 222 will take Lachlan, his partner Courtney and their Golden Retriever, Fab, all the way up Australia’s east coast from Hobart to Cairns. A massive 4800km (give or take).
Departing Hobart on 2/2/22, they’ll head north along Tasmania’s east cost, before heading west towards the Spirit of Tasmania dock in Devonport.
After a trip across Bass Strait, The 222 Crew will track south-east from Port Melbourne, slowly making their way through Inverloch, en route to Gippsland, and then north through Eden, Wollongong, home-base Bondi Beach, the NSW Central Coast, The Tweed, and then right up through Queensland to Cairns.
How you can help
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover the costs that come with such a massive undertaking, and will assist in not only getting Lachlan to the start line in Hobart, but then onto Cairns.
Your support will help to make this challenge possible, and would be sincerely appreciated. If you’re associated with a business which would like to get involved from a sponsorship perspective, please get in touch with Lachlan via email or phone (details at the bottom of this page).
The 222 is raising funds for mental health organisations R U OK? and Heart On My Sleeve.
